One spring, I decided to take a last minute roadtrip to NYC. I took a bus down from Canada by myself and ended up having the wildest few days. I met some really cool characters, got very drunk, heard some great music, slept on a few floors, and made out with a really hot girl. Four days later after a sleepless night and with the worst hangover, I made the 13 hour bus ride back home. I couldn’t help but feel the whole experience was a sort of personal victory. I mean nothing life changing or unique happened. But to me, it was so off the charts. It taught me to remember how important the small things are because more often than not, it’s the small things that have the biggest impact on your life.
